An Apple on the Seder Plate?

An apple on the Seder plate?  Sounds crazy, no?  Not for Amichai Lau-Lavie of Storahtelling fame.  Here, in the guise of his drag alter ego, Rebbetzin Hadassah Gross, he points out that we need to ask how we, as consumers (of, say, iPads and iPhones, hint, hint) might be unwittingly abetting "enslavement" throughout the world.  See the Jerusalem Post coverage, read the latest on how Apple is addressing concerns regarding working conditions in its supplier's factories and watch the video below.  Also, listen to a Storahtelling commentary on the Exodus narrative.
